| Summary: |
|
Secure funds for various WNED projects and revenue operations and provide customer service assistance for WNED’s major donors that reside in Canada. This includes individual donations made to the Central Canada Public Television Association (CCPTA), WNED-TV, WNED-FM. Services also include the coordination of WNED’s Legacy Society [Planned Giving program] activities in Canada.

| 1. Sustain and grow top-level ($20,000+) individual donors. This includes developing print materials, identifying and cultivating prospects, stewardship of current major donors, setting up meetings with various WNED personnel, and managing all communications. This person is responsible for meeting or exceeding annual goals, creating and managing major gifts/planned giving budget and closely coordinating efforts with established membership program and Director of the Leadership Circle and Founder’s Society in the Buffalo, NY office. |

| 2. Working through the CCPTA, secure funds for various WNED projects and/or revenue operations, including but not limited to, the WNED Endowment, WNED local & national productions, the WNED building fund, and other services to further the mission and goals of WNED and all its fundraising activities. Work closely with WNED’s President & CEO, the Chief Program Officer, SVP of Development & Corporate Communications, and other staff to achieve success in the Southern Ontario marketplace. |

| Qualifications and Education Required: |
 |
- Demonstrated success in major gift solicitation ($10,000 and above)
- Experience running a capital campaign
- Must have worked in Toronto metroplex
