“You don’t have to be a victim of your past…you can be a survivor of the future.” That’s the proactive message of Ross Szabo, who confronted the stigma of mental illness early in life, and went on to direct youth outreach for the National Mental Health Awareness Campaign. Through this inspiring documentary, Szabo brings his personal story and inspirational message to young people. He wants them to understand that people suffering from mental illness can live happy and productive lives.
