Classical 94.5/WNED invites classical music fans to share their “Top 10 Favorite Composers.” lists.
“Every classical music fan has an opinion on composers. We want to know your favorites,” said Classical 94.5/WNED Program Director Gabe DiMaio. “They don’t have to be the famous ones -- just the ones you enjoy listening to.”
Lists must be received by May 31 and sent to topten@wned.org or Classical 94.5/WNED P.O. Box 1263, Buffalo, NY 14240. Listeners are encouraged to share the reasons behind their picks. The most interesting responses may be shared with the Classical 94.5/WNED audience over the next few months.
Throughout the summer, the 24/7 classical music station will draw from its extensive music library (one of the largest in public broadcasting) to air music by the “Top 10 Favorite Composers” chosen by listeners in Western New York and Southern Ontario.
Classical 94.5/WNED is a station of WNED Buffalo/Toronto. The others are WNED-AM 970 and television stations WNED-TV and ThinkBright. The member-supported public broadcaster provides high quality programming and services that enlighten, inspire, entertain and educate our communities. |
