WNED ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS
 

Dennis Penman, Board Chair of WNED, announced the appointment of four new members to the WNED Board of Trustees.  Starting their two-year terms in 2009 are: Dr. Owen Moy, Surgeon and Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery-Hand & Shoulder Center, Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital; Carlton Brock, Jr., Area Vice President, St. Jude Medical; Mark DePalma. Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President, BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York; and Daniel Boscarino, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, M&T Bank.

“After an extensive search, we found that these individuals possessed the best combination of skills and insight to help bring forward WNED’s future initiatives,” said WNED President and CEO Donald K. Boswell.  “We look forward to working with them and benefiting from their experience.”

During the most recent Board meeting on January 21, the following Trustees were elected to serve a second, two-year term: Judith Beecher, Stephen Brereton, Mary Ann Budin, Lorraine Collins, Laura Damon, Randy Epstein, Yvonne Minor-Ragan, and David Roll.

Reinhold; Louise Snyder; Betsy Strother; and Timothy Vukelic.  Fred R. Dentinger, Sue M. Wardynski, Robert M. Greene, Mary Ann Lauricella, and Kevin T. Keane serve as Chair Emeriti.
