The second program in the series will air Thursday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. on WNED AM 970 as a special edition of “Forum”.  WNED’s News Director Jim Ranney will lead the hour-long discussion with a panel of experts entitled “The Best Third of Your Life: Senior Health.” The panelists include Dr. Kenneth Garbarino, geriatrician and medical director of Geriatric Ambulatory Program at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, Dr. Riffat  Sadiq, geriatrician and president of Western New York Medical, PC and Judy Casassa, supervisor of program development and evaluation for the Erie County Senior Services Department.

As the first of America's baby boomers reach their 65th birthdays this year.  WNED-AM’s “Good For You: The Best Third of Your Life” focuses on staying healthy and aging well.  The panel of experts will discuss common diseases and conditions we face as we age, how nutrition, physical activity and social issues affect the life and health of older adults, what safety issues  need to be addressed, and how partnering with your health care team and making certain lifestyle changes can lead to healthier years ahead.
