BUFFALO, N.Y. – As part of the My Music Series and special programming in December, WNED-TV will air Motown: The Big Hits and More and Superstars of ‘70s Soul.
Take a look into the Motown vaults with Motown: The Big Hits and More, airing on Friday, Dec. 7 at 9 p.m. The special contains footage of original Motown classics from 1959-1967 and features many of the biggest hits and classics from the Temptations, the Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, the Supremes, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, Martha & the Vandellas and more.
Superstars of ‘70s Soul Live, airing on Monday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m., is a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of legends — all original performers singing their greatest hits. Soul diva Patti LaBelle hosts the historic reunion of classic recording artists of the decade, including the Commodores, original lead Eugene Record reuniting with the Chi-Lites, the Stylistics, Yvonne Elliman, Heatwave, Earl Young’s Trammps, the Emotions and the Manhattans.
