Why not target your audience with program underwriting? You can present your message when you feel it would be most advantageous for your company with day of the week underwriting. Or, take the maximum advantage of the opportunity to let people know you support the quality programming on WNED-TV, WNED-AM or WNED/WNJA-FM with general support announcements. You can even reinforce your message with support for off-air underwriting opportunities.

Details on Underwriting Options...

Program Underwriting identifies your company as a direct supporter of the local broadcast of a particular program or series. It is an effective way to let loyal viewers know who you are and what you do, and shows your commitment to programming excellence. As a program underwriter, your message of up to 15 seconds will air before and after the program and any repeat broadcasts within that week. Program underwriting is available with a series as well as with one-time specials on WNED-TV. Grant requests vary with particular series.

Day-of-the-Week Underwriting supports an evening of programming and reaches a variety of audiences. Your message, up to 15 seconds in length, will air twice on the evening of your choice, between 6 p.m. and midnight. Please note: Day-of-the-Week Underwriting credits are not scheduled during membership drives on WNED television or radio.

General Support Announcements (GSAs) are messages of up to 30 seconds which are broadcast in the intervals between programs on WNED's television and radio programs. GSAs are image-builders, presented in WNED's unique, uncluttered environment, which enhances your message. They clearly identify you and your support of programming on WNED.

Off-Air Underwriting Opportunities, such as advertising space in On The Horizon, the member magazine and program guide of the WNED stations, allows you an opportunity to incorporate as much information as you want into a printed message targeted to an audience willing to pay for what it wants.
