Bader Promoted to Executive Producer for Buffalo Toronto Public Media
Buffalo Toronto Public Media has a new Executive Producer of Television Production – Lynne Bader, who has served as a director and senior producer for the public broadcasting organization since 1997. Bader’s promotion puts her in charge of the management and oversight of the Production Department.
“Lynne has been an essential part of our organization for many years and she brings decades of production experience and project management,” said David Rotterman, senior vice president and chief content officer for Buffalo Toronto Public Media. “She is passionate about public media and our mission to serve the community, which is evident in her recent productions – Making Buffalo Home, Reimagining a Buffalo Landmark, and Reach Out.”
Bader will take a leadership role, under Rotterman, to produce local and regional content for television and digital platforms. Bader holds a BA from Southeast Missouri State University and worked as a television director at KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau, MO, and as a director and technical director at WROC-TV in Rochester, NY. She has been a senior producer and director at WNED PBS for more than 20 years. She has produced or directed more than 100 local, regional, and national productions for WNED. Bader is also a frequent voiceover talent and on-air personality for the organization’s fundraising efforts.
