WBFO’s Buffalo Blues Bash Returns in October

The blues returns to WNED | WBFO Studios for the one-night concert, WBFO’s Buffalo Blues Bash. The concert begins at 6 pm, Saturday, Oct. 13. Doors open at 5:15 pm.

Co-headliners Joanna Connor, and Tas Cru and The Tortured Souls will each perform full sets. Hanna and the Blue Hearts will open the show.

A Rochester, NY band, Hanna and the Blue Hearts channel a wide variety of the blues, from pre-war styles to 50s & 60s Chicago blues, to boogie woogie. Fueled by a love of jazz, this band also really swings!

Joanna Connor got her big break when a video of her playing a slide guitar solo went viral in 2014. But she’s been around the Blues scene for much longer. Connor is an institution in Chicago, bringing people together with her scorching sound.

Tas Cru’s newest album, “Memphis Song”, is among the top 25 blues albums for June and July 2018. Based out of upstate New York, Cru performs in a variety of formats ranging from solo-acoustic to a 7 piece backing band.

Tickets are on sale now.
