Bae Reh - Share Your Story
My name Bae Reh. I am from Thailand. My country is special because it has many beautiful places and friendly people. I lived in the village where it was surrounded by beautiful mountains.
In my country, the biggest problem is war. I was feeling sad when I lived there because I saw many children who didn’t have a home. I came to Buffalo with my family because we wanted better living conditions.
I was feeling confused when I came here. The hardest part about coming to Buffalo was that I didn’t know any English and I didn’t know how to get around. What I like about Buffalo is the food and the people. The things that I do not like about Buffalo are weather conditions and housing.

Making Buffalo Home is a two-year, in-depth Buffalo Toronto Public Media engagement initiative to inform and raise awareness of immigration for our entire community. The project aims to help the region develop a better understanding of the shared opportunities and challenges we face together as long-time residents and new immigrants and refugees.
Making Buffalo Home is funded by Rich Products Corporation and Rich Family Foundation.
