WNED Classical Live on Stage! Presents: Sotto Voce

Join Sotto Voce for an afternoon celebrating the feminine divine! Opera singers Jessie Downs, Beth White, & Helen Lowry accompanied by pianist Jonathan Vogtle will perform excerpts from Sotto Voce’s repertoire including selections from Dido and Aeneas, The Magic Flute, Norma, Carmen, Madama Butterfly, Der Rosenkavalier, and Lucia di Lammermoor.

This FREE event includes a post-concert Q&A and light refreshments.

Join us for a special screening of the Buffalo Toronto Public Media original production, The Niagara Movement: The Early Battle for Civil Rights at The Buffalo History Museum.

The Niagara Movement: The Early Battle for Civil Rights explores the story of a groundbreaking civil rights organization founded in 1905 near Niagara Falls. Led by W.E.B. Du Bois and other visionaries, the Niagara Movement boldly challenged racial injustice and demanded equal rights for African Americans during an era of widespread discrimination.
