Doctoral studies in Historical Performance Practice at both Eastman and the University of York (UK) led to her acting in the world-famous York Mystery Plays, and founding her own Medieval theater troupe which made their for-profit debut at the British Museum.

Suzanne has performed in many plays, music-dramas and "operas" across the Middle Ages in Latin, Anglo-Saxon, Middle English, Old Norse, Umbrian and Arabic.
