Annie soon stages a 70s comedy of censored innuendos and actions, until Trevor accidentally knocks out all the performers, leaving Jonathan to conduct a circus-based musical finale by himself. The company sets a drama in the American Deep South, featuring a plantation family's interactions and machinations in the wake of the head of the household's final hours.
